Billing
Billing & Refund Policy
What you pay, when you pay it, how medication billing works, and how to cancel.
The short version
- Free pre-screen. A consultation fee — shown before you pay — is charged at checkout for each consultation, including any future or renewal visit
- The consultation fee is refundable only if you cancel before a clinician reviews your request. Once a clinician has reviewed it, the fee is non-refundable, because it pays for the clinical review itself
- Medication is never charged at checkout. It's charged only after a prescription is written, then on a recurring per-fill cycle until you cancel
- Cancel anytime through your patient portal or by emailing support@welldayhealth.com. No notice, no cancellation fee
- Prices and the billing cycle are disclosed at checkout before you agree to anything
This summary doesn’t replace the full Billing & Refund Policy below. If anything seems to conflict, the full policy controls.
I
What you pay at checkout
Free pre-screen: No charge to check whether Wellday is a fit.
Consultation fee: A licensed clinician reviews your intake online and provides a treatment recommendation. This fee is charged at checkout, and the amount is shown to you before you pay. A consultation fee applies to each consultation — your initial visit and any future or renewal consultation.
Medication is not charged at checkout. You pay only the consultation fee to begin. If a clinician prescribes medication, it is billed separately and only after the prescription is written — see Section III.
II
Refunds
The consultation fee pays for the clinical review — a licensed clinician evaluating your request and deciding on a treatment recommendation.
- Before a clinician reviews your request: If you cancel before a clinician has reviewed your request, your consultation fee is refunded in full.
- After a clinician reviews your request: Once a clinician has reviewed your request, the consultation fee is non-refundable — whether or not a prescription is issued, and whether or not you are determined to be a candidate for treatment. The review is the service you paid for, and it has taken place.
Damaged or incorrect medication: Contact support@welldayhealth.com within 7 days. We'll work with the pharmacy to make it right.
Service disruptions: Extended platform unavailability due to our error gets credited to your account.
III
Medication billing
If a clinician prescribes medication:
- You are charged for medication only after the prescription is written — never at checkout.
- Medication then bills on a recurring, per-fill cycle that continues until you cancel. The price and the length of the billing cycle are disclosed at checkout before you agree to them.
- By requesting medication through Wellday, you authorize Wellday to charge your payment method for each fill on that recurring cycle until you cancel.
Cancelling stops future medication charges. Medication that has already been prescribed or dispensed is not refundable through Wellday.
IV
How to cancel
Cancel anytime through:
- Your Wellday patient portal (recommended; instant confirmation)
- Email to support@welldayhealth.com
No advance notice required. No cancellation fee. Cancelling stops future medication charges going forward.
V
What happens to your medications when you cancel
When you cancel:
- Wellday stops billing you for future fills
- Wellday stops scheduling refill coordination and renewing prior authorizations
- Your clinician stops providing ongoing care, dosage adjustments, or new prescriptions
- Any prescription already filled or on file remains available per your pharmacy's policies and the original prescription's refill quantity and expiration
If you want to continue treatment, restart Wellday or transition to another provider. We'll provide a copy of your medical records to your new provider, free of charge.
VI
Payment
We accept major credit and debit cards, processed through Stripe. Wellday does not store full card numbers. If a payment fails, we'll attempt to reach you. Repeated failures may pause medication fulfillment until payment is current.
VII
Pricing changes
We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. Current prices are always disclosed at checkout before you agree to them, and you can decline or cancel before a change takes effect.
VIII
Disputes
Contact support@welldayhealth.com first — we want to fix problems quickly. Chargebacks involve fees and unnecessary friction. For other disputes, see Terms of Service.
