Telehealth migraine care

Real migraine care, tailored to you.

Clinician-guided migraine treatment, this week. Tell us about your migraines. We handle everything else.

Woman experiencing relief from migraine

People are suffering. Millions of people are living with migraines they don’t have to — missing the most effective treatments available today. Wellday was built to change that — with frictionless access to the care you need to feel better.

How it works

Three steps to feeling better.

From your first visit to your first treatment — this week, not in months.

1
5 minutes

Build your migraine profile.

Answer a few questions about your migraine history, frequency, triggers, and what you’ve tried before. Five minutes, no charge. Your migraine profile is what guides everything that comes next.

Within 48 hours

A clinician reviews your profile — then meets with you.

A licensed clinician trained in migraine care reviews your migraine profile in advance, then connects with you for a $119 video consultation. The output is your Wellday Care Plan — a treatment strategy matched to your specific pattern, not a one-size prescription.

We handle everything else

Your care plan put into motion. We handle the hard parts.

Wellday Care begins — your prescription goes straight to the pharmacy. If your insurer requires prior authorization, we manage the entire process — submission, follow-up, and appeals if needed. Most patients with commercial insurance pay $0–5/month for medication through manufacturer savings card programs — we coordinate your enrollment so you don’t have to figure that out either.

Ongoing care

Most platforms treat you like a transaction — hand you a prescription and disappear.

Wellday stays.

Regular check-ins

Your clinician checks in at 30, 60, and 90 days to see how your treatment is working. Not a form. A real clinical review of your progress.

We adjust if needed

If something isn’t working, we don’t leave you with it. Different drug, different dose, different approach — until we find what works for you.

Renewals handled

When it’s time to renew your prior authorization — every year — we handle it automatically. You don’t lift a finger. Your care just continues.

Who it’s for

Wellday is for people the system has left waiting.

If any of these sound like you, you’re in the right place.

You’ve never been formally treated for migraine.

If you’ve spent years managing with over-the-counter pills and willpower — never sure if it was migraine, never sure where to start — you’re in the largest group of migraine sufferers in the country. Most people in this position never learn that migraine-specific medications even exist. Wellday is built to be your first real step into proper care.

You’ve been handed a prescription — but never a plan.

If your migraine care is a triptan refill from your primary care doctor, you’re being treated for the symptom, not the condition. A care plan looks different — it accounts for your pattern, your triggers, what you’ve tried, and what you haven’t. Wellday builds the plan, then stays with you through follow-up and adjustment.

You’ve been waiting months for a specialist appointment.

There are only 564 board-certified headache specialists in the country for nearly 40 million migraine patients. If you’ve been referred and told to wait, you’re not the exception — you’re the rule. Wellday gets you to a clinician trained in migraine care this week, and handles the insurance complexity that often comes with it.

Your migraines are getting worse and no one has explained why.

Hormonal shifts, evolving triggers, worsening patterns — these aren’t random and they aren’t in your head. A clinician who understands migraine can connect what’s happening and build a treatment plan that reflects the change, rather than treating each attack like a one-off event.

The migraine spectrum

Honest about where we fit.

Not every migraine situation is the same — and Wellday isn’t right for every one of them. Here’s where we do our best work, and where we’ll point you elsewhere.

Type
Frequency
How Wellday helps
EpisodicWellday helps
1–3 days/month
Acute rescue treatment — triptans or gepants to stop attacks when they happen. Fast access, no long wait. If frequency increases, we’ll proactively move you to a preventive plan.
Frequent episodicOur core strength
4–14 days/month
This is where Wellday does its best work. A full preventive and rescue care plan — CGRP therapy matched to your pattern, prior authorization handled, follow-up included. Most patients see significant improvement within 90 days.
ChronicWellday helps
15+ days/month
CGRP biologics have strong evidence for chronic migraine. We manage the full care plan, handle the PA process — which is often more involved for chronic patients — and coordinate closely with your clinician on progress and adjustments.
RefractoryWe’ll refer you
Complex / multiple failed treatments
Some cases require in-person neurology — infusion therapy, inpatient evaluation, or specialist procedures we can’t provide via telehealth. We’ll be upfront about this and help you find the right in-person care.

Prior authorization

The insurance step that stops most people. We handle it for you.

Most patients give up on their migraine medication right here. They don’t have to — and with Wellday, they don’t.

What it is

Permission from your insurance company.

Prior authorization — or “PA” — is a process where your insurance company requires documentation proving a medication is appropriate for you before they’ll cover it. It’s standard practice for newer migraine therapies like CGRP biologics.

In plain terms

Paperwork your insurance demands before they pay.

When it’s needed

For most preventive migraine medications.

Almost every commercial insurance plan requires prior authorization for CGRP medications. Most plans also require “step therapy” — proof you’ve tried older preventives first. This adds time, paperwork, and the very real risk of being denied.

The reality

This is the #1 reason patients abandon CGRP therapy.

How we help

We do the entire process for you.

Wellday submits your prior authorization, tracks the response, and files appeals if it’s initially denied. Most denials are overturned with proper documentation — and we have the documentation. You wait, get notified, and start your treatment.

What you do

Nothing. We handle submission, follow-up, appeals, and renewals.

From the founder

“I suffered through migraines for two decades before I got real treatment. Wellday is what I wish I’d had — and we’re building it to be seamless and accessible to everyone like me.”
