About Wellday

Wellday is a telehealth platform built specifically for migraine care. We connect patients with clinicians trained in migraine, build a personalized care plan, and handle the operational work — prescriptions, insurance, prior authorizations — so you can focus on getting better.

Adults with migraine who want effective, modern treatment without the wait or hassle of traditional specialty care. Whether you have occasional migraines or chronic ones, we'll match you with the right care path.

Most telehealth platforms prescribe and ship. We do that and more — we navigate insurance, file prior authorizations, coordinate savings cards, and stay with you through ongoing care. Migraine is what we do, not one of many things we do.

Wellday is a telehealth platform that connects you with licensed clinicians through our clinical partners. The care you receive comes from real, credentialed providers practicing in your state.

Treatment & Your Care Plan

Clinicians on the Wellday platform can consider a full range of evidence-based migraine treatments, including CGRP biologics, oral CGRP medications, triptans, gepants, traditional preventives, Botox referrals, neuromodulation devices, and lifestyle guidance. The right treatment for you depends on your migraine pattern, history, and clinical evaluation. See all treatments.

CGRP biologics are the first class of medications designed specifically for migraine prevention. They block calcitonin gene-related peptide, a protein involved in migraine attacks. Many patients see significant reductions in migraine days. Learn more.

Yes — and most chronic migraine patients should. Preventive medications reduce how often migraines happen; acute medications stop attacks when they do. Your clinician will build a plan that uses both if appropriate.

A treatment plan tailored to your migraine pattern, history, and life — built during your $119 clinical consultation. It includes your medications, what to do during attacks, lifestyle guidance, and check-in schedule.

Migraine treatment is often a process of finding what works best for you. If a medication isn't helping, your clinician will adjust your care plan and try other options. We don't leave you with a treatment that isn't working.

Our primary focus is migraine. Some treatments available through Wellday are also FDA-approved for related conditions like cluster headache. Build your free profile and we'll tell you honestly if Wellday is the right fit for your specific condition.

Cost, Billing & Insurance

A $119 clinical consultation up front. Then ongoing Wellday Care is $19/month for occasional migraines (Relief) or $69/month for frequent migraines (Prevention). Your clinician recommends the right path during your consultation.

It covers your clinician's time to review your profile, meet with you, and build your Wellday Care Plan. You leave with the plan whether or not you continue with ongoing care.

Wellday Care is direct-pay — we don't bill insurance for our service. But we work with your insurance for medications, prior authorization, and savings card coordination. Most patients pay $0–5/month for medication after we coordinate insurance.

For most commercially insured patients, $0–5 per month after we coordinate prior authorization and manufacturer savings cards. Without our help navigating insurance, the same medication can cost hundreds of dollars per month.

Prior authorization is the approval process insurers require before covering certain medications, including CGRP biologics. It's confusing, time-consuming, and one of the main reasons patients give up on getting effective treatment. Wellday handles the entire process for you.

Yes. No annual contracts, no cancellation fees. When you cancel, ongoing services like refill coordination and insurance support stop, but any active prescriptions remain with your pharmacy. We'll help you transition to another provider if you need.

Getting Started

Build your free migraine profile — five minutes, no charge, no commitment. We'll review it and confirm whether Wellday is right for you before any payment.

Most patients meet with a clinician within a few days of building their profile. No 6-month specialist waitlists.

A 30–45 minute video visit with a clinician who has reviewed your profile in advance. They'll ask questions, discuss treatment options, and build your Wellday Care Plan together with you.

If your migraine profile suggests Wellday isn't a good fit, we'll tell you honestly before you pay anything. Your free profile is just that — free, and only to confirm fit.

It varies. Acute medications can work in under an hour. Preventive medications typically take 4–12 weeks to reach full effect. Your clinician will set realistic expectations during your consultation.
